About to launch "ReputationView", a new e-reputation service

A lot of people seem to be discovering the power of the Internet today. After having neglected what was going on throughout the blogosphere and the social media for years, they now try to hurry up and upgrade their personal “software”. This is the result of a generational gap and of many years of active work. People that are managing organizations or people that are communication of marketing directors are nearly 50 years old. They have been working like hell to manage they careers and they did not take enough time to learn. They did not have to consider Internet as it was not important for their business. Most of them were feeling that it was an exotic tool for teenagers.

The way they discover Internet today is like explorers discovering a new territory and understanding that they have missed something big.

To better help them in this discovery and to show them how listening to the variety of the conversations on the Web can benefit to their communication strategy, we at RUMEUR PUBLIQUE are about to launch a new service, “Reputation View”. Designed around a dashboard collecting all the information from the web (blogs, twitter, social media,...), this will be the first step of people’s education on the Internet. And I believe that it is a mandatory step, ways before going further and planning web 2.0 campaigns.
